The eyes are almost violet tinted. Was planning on it, but they turned out an ice-blue instead. I think the eyes save this piece, which would otherwise be boring and almost ugly. This one didn't come as easily as some of my others have and it was a struggle to get it to work. But, I'm happy enough with it and think it is one of my better cats.
